Statement:

Anne W. Ackerson brings a wide variety of management, development, and creative skills, based on more than 20 years of executive level museum experience, to the planning and special project needs of the smaller cultural institution. Since becoming an independent consultant in 1997, she has worked with boards and staff in 35 organizations ranging from art and history museums to performing arts groups and arts councils. Her areas of particular expertise include building organizational infrastructure through board/staff recruitment and mentoring, strategic planning, policy development, and research and writing services.
