The MANY Annual Conference has grown to become the largest gathering of museum professionals in New York State. Our conference next week in Saratoga is going to be remarkable. There is still time to register!
Join us in the Capitol Region during a critical moment for museums. Funding is under serious threat; it is a time for organizing, planning and activism. Never has the MANY motto of "One Voice" been more important. We truly are stronger together as we advocate for museums and our sister cultural institutions.
Museums Trifecta: Experiment, Inspire, Transform celebrates our distinct ability as Museums to innovate in response to change and challenge.
Conference events will be held in four remarkable Saratoga museums: The Tang Teaching Museum, The National Museum of Dance, National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, and The Saratoga Springs History Museum. Each one showcases a core strength of museums, no matter what the size or budget, to experiment, inspire and transform.
Sessions at the landmark Gideon Putnam all take place within the 2500 acre Saratoga Spa State Park where you can explore walking trails, spas and mineral springs. Two museums in the park are within walking distance of the Gideon Putnam: the Saratoga Auto Museum (in a restored Saratoga bottling plant) and the National Museum of Dance (in the former Washington Bath House). Saratoga is also home to the oldest race track in America. The elegance of horses and racing culture is infused into the daily life of Saratoga Springs.
Join us for networking, conversation, discovery and fun. Escape for a few refreshing and rejuvenating days with your colleagues in Saratoga. We all need it right now.
See you in Saratoga!
