2008-2009 Museum Salary and Benefits Survey

The Museum Association of New York (MANY) is a member-based service and advocacy organization dedicated to championing the values and needs of museums in New York State. Believing that a healthy profession depends on strong institutions and that healthy institutions are proactive about their futures, MANY routinely tracks trends and monitors developments in leadership and governance in New York State and in the field as a whole.

One of our reoccurring projects is the biennial Salary and Benefits Survey. It has grown to be one of the largest surveys of its type in the country tracking more than 70 positions from institutions of all disciplines across New York State.

However, the survey is only as beneficial as you make it.
